Took the Porsche in today, drank tea, chatted and went home.

Plans Change

Well the plan was to service the Focus this weekend, but my wifes Fiesta needs a little "polishing" to remove some red paint from the front wing... I can see there is some damage, will prob need filling and spraying.

Last bit to finish Porsche suspension

Now all the Shocks, Springs and Anti-roll bars have been updated with new M030 Sports suspension as supplied when the car was new.

Only difficulty we encountered was a couple of seised droplink bolts (which go through the hub) so replaced the drop links as well.

All now greased up, so it will come apart if needed next time.

All the major jobs are now done on the Porsche, just about time for its yearly service...

The Boxster has taken most of my weekends this year, Water leak fixed with 2 x Radiators, Replaced the Shock & Springs (Renewed the factory fitted Porsche M030 sports suspension).

New Blog - what now?

The plan is to keep a record of my weekend mechanical stuff, generally quite boring, it could prove a useful way of remembering what was done when and to what.

So why split it from my normal blog? Don't know, just seems like a good idea.
